the very thought of this entry brings tears to my eyes.
Mrs Constance Chew
you fought well.
amazingly brave.
a dedicated and submissive wife.
loving and nurturing.
R.I.P
i take comfort in knowing it was a peaceful passing
and i am delighted that you are with God.
still-
greatly missed and adored
picture of us with the power pack couple
during the christmas celebration at
Mr and Mrs Chew's humble little home.
i remembered Mrs Chew prepared so much food.
and mind you, there were at least 20 hungry kids in that place.
a period of grief.
death is never a nice issue to deal with.
I pray that Mr Chew will be able to manage.
i have known his to be a serious man
but he had no reservations when expressing
his love for Mrs Chew.
"My dearly beloved wife, the love of my life and pillar of support, Constance Beck Gek Im,returned home to Jesus on Monday 19th March 2012 at 6.12 pm after a valiant and painful fight with cancer over a period of 4 years. How I miss her - she was everything to me, she looked after all my needs, cared for me when others did not, and was the love and joy of my life. She was so brave, taking everything in her stride, never complaining, especially when the operation was demanding or the chemotherapy caused bouts of nausea, low blood cell count and hospitalization. Wake is at St Theresa's Church parlor, Kampong Bahru from Tuesday 20th March to Thursday 22nd March. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. RIP my dearest darling. I love you ever so dearly and no one can ever fill that void in my life."
God. . .
